Refund Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Every zine is made for you specifically, from photographs you choose and a layout you approve. Because of that, our approach to refunds is built around the stage your order is at, not a blanket policy.

Questions? Email studio@onezine.studio.

Studio access and zine credits

All plans — single orders and subscriptions — pay upfront for access to the OneZine studio and the credits included in that plan. This access is granted immediately on payment.

Credits are non-refundable once issued, regardless of whether you go on to build a preview or order a print. The value is in the access itself — generating previews carries real processing cost on our side — and that value is delivered the moment your link is sent.

Unused credits expire at the end of their validity period (six months for single orders; your current billing period for subscriptions) without refund.

After you approve and send to print

Once you have approved your preview and confirmed your print order, your zine enters production. It cannot be returned, resold, or reproduced. We do not offer refunds for a change of mind after print is confirmed.

You reviewed a full digital preview of your exact layout before confirming. That approval is the point at which printing begins.

Print defects — we reprint

If your zine arrives with a defect in ink coverage, colour, paper, or cutting, we will reprint it at no cost to you. To request a reprint:

We will assess your request and, if the defect is confirmed, arrange a reprint and dispatch it to the same address at no charge.

What is not a defect

The following are inherent characteristics of the print format, not defects, and do not qualify for a reprint:

Subscriptions

Subscription payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Any unused credits for the current period remain available until your plan's end date.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
