Refund Policy

Every zine is made for you specifically, from photographs you choose and a layout you approve. Because of that, our approach to refunds is built around the stage your order is at, not a blanket policy.

Before you pay
You can walk away at any point before completing payment. No charge, no obligation. Your preview expires after 48 hours if you don't proceed.
After payment
Once you have approved your preview and completed payment, your zine is made specifically for you. It cannot be returned, resold, or reproduced. We do not offer refunds for a change of mind.
This is not a small-print catch: you reviewed a full digital preview of your layout before payment, and that approval is the point at which production begins. We built the review step precisely so that what you see is what gets printed.
Digital PDF add-on
The printed zine follows the policy above. The PDF add-on is delivered immediately after payment; by ticking it at checkout you agreed to that and gave up your right to cancel it. It is not refundable once the download link has been sent.
If we are unable to generate your PDF, we will refund the add-on in full on request. Email studio@onezine.studio with your order reference.
Print defects: we reprint
If your zine arrives with a defect in ink coverage, colour, paper, or cutting, we will reprint it at no cost to you. To request a reprint:
- Email studio@onezine.studio within 30 days of receiving your order
- Include your order reference and two or three photographs clearly showing the defect
- You do not need to return the original copy
We will assess your request and, if the defect is confirmed, arrange a reprint and dispatch it to the same address at no charge.
What is not a defect
The following are inherent characteristics of the print format, not defects, and do not qualify for a reprint:
- Spread alignment across the centre fold within ±2mm, standard staple binding tolerance
- Colour variation between what you saw on screen and the printed result. Screen-to-print conversion is never exact
- Minor variations in paper texture or finish between copies
